To have these facilities taken away by the Palaszczuk State Government in 2020 despite representations from the community and the State MP Ros Bates at that time caused a great deal of anger and disgust.  It is impossible to understand how the destruction of a community asset can be justified. Peter Yaun, the President of CSF for over 20 years fought hard to prevent this government sanctioned vandalism and exhausted all avenues of complaint.
